Indonesia Earthquake & Tsunami & Volcano Eruption Leave Over 100 Dead & Many Missing
Tragedy in Indonesia: A devastating series of natural disasters have struck the island nation of Indonesia in the past 48 or so hours. It began Monday night with a monstrous 7 magnitude earthquake off of the western coast of the island of Sumatra which generated a 10-foot tsunami that killed more than 100 people. Then, on Tuesday, the volcano Mount Merapi erupted on the island of Java, killing at least 18 other persons.
All of our thoughts and prayers go out to the Indonesian people in this time of crisis. These people need help, and we hope that they get it rapidly as the country looks to recover from a series of disasters of biblical proportions.
